Charity Support
D.C. Groves & Son believes in giving back to the community and supporting charities is a long standing tradition.
The company has a partnership with three charities The Hospice in the Weald, The Removers Benevolent Association and The Tenterden Lions Club.
Customers who accept a removal quote are requested to choose a charity. That charity will then receive a donation of £2.
The Hospice in the Weald
Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, their families and carers in West Kent and Northern East Sussex.
The Removers Benevolent Association
The Removers Benevolent Association (RBA) is the only dedicated charity for the removals & storage industry. Established in 1900, the charity was set up to provide financial relief for necessitous persons (including their widows and dependents) who are, or have been, engaged continuously for a minimum period of one year by any Member of the British Association of Removers Ltd (BAR).
The Tenterden Lions Club
Lions International is the world's largest and most active Service Club organisation, with clubs in very many countries all devoted to the concept of service to humanity. It is entirely non-political and non-secretarian.
